Stop Beef Export, Australia Not Break WTO Rules

The Australian Government insisted on their decision to suspend beef exports to Indonesia did not violate international trade rules. They said it had acted right to keep proper cattle handling.

The assessment was delivered by australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, who launched from AAP news stations, Thursday, June 9, 2011. According to AAP, Gillard statement is to anticipate the threat of a complaint from the government of Indonesia to the World Trade Organization (WTO).
